DANCING GENERATIONS combines dance and music instruction in a playful, supportive atmosphere.
Each class has a sound and movement warm-up and skill development in the language of movement and music. Participants are given tools and an outlet for creativity with opportunity and encouragement to collaborate across generations. Teaching artists will lead participants in activities that will result in the creation of dances from their ideas, stories, current events and memories. Participants will discover and develop their own voices in movement and music, working together to express their ideas.
