On 9/17, Concordia Lutheran Church's Music Ministry will present Chicago Symphony Orchestra musicians John Bruce Yeh and Patrick Godon in a special recital featuring repertoire from their recent album release. "Second Sundays" is a monthly recurring recital series that will take place on the second Sunday of each month (with some adaptations due to our church’s schedule and major holidays). We will present a FREE 45-minute concert at noon following our Sunday AM church service. There will be coffee, tea and light refreshments for our patrons. Our goal is to showcase exceptional talents from within our congregation and local musical community while offering an enriching and diverse range of musical genres and styles. Whether you're a classical music enthusiast, a jazz aficionado, or a lover of contemporary music, there will be something for everyone in this series. Please note that we are continuing to present our more large-scale annual concerts under the guise of “Concordia Concerts”, and these recitals will be additional events.
