About Us

Founded by Rachel Whitenton in 2022, Songbird Kids is an independent music education business based in Chicago, dedicated to nurturing every child's natural musicality through joyful experiences with movement, music, instruments, and play.

Designed for families with infants and children up to age 6, this interactive music class features songs, rhythmic chants, creative movement, multicultural music, and plenty of hands-on fun with instruments and props. Activities are presented in a relaxed, play-based setting that supports each child’s development and ensures a fun, welcoming experience for parents and caregivers—no musical background required. All instruments and materials are provided by Songbird Kids.
